The tunnels to alleviate the traffic in some cities of the United States, proposed by Elon Musk, with the Hyperloop are getting closer to materialize. According to Musk himself, through his Twitter account, the company already has a verbal permit to begin the construction of the Hyperloop that would cover New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC.
Thus, the materialization of this proposal would be the first proof of the promise of alleviating traffic in large cities; the journey of this first Hyperloop would take 29 minutes compared to the three hours it would take to make the trip normally.

The Hyperloop capsule project was first known in 2013, and although it looked quite futuristic at the time, the company soon began to make the first tests to get it going. However, the costs of this system of collective transport, have always represented the great obstacle to appreciate it as viable, at least that was the perception of some expert sources until last year.
Of the first concepts to the tests in real earths it did not happen much. In May 2016, the first test of a train that traveled 1200 km / h, north of Las Vegas, achieved excellent results.
When the idea was presented, it was hoped that in the future, this transportation system would allow San Francisco to connect with Los Angeles in a half-hour trip. The first phase was planned for 2020 with a system covering about 400 meters. Likewise, Musk, through Hyperloop One, suggested the possibility that the idea could be taken to Europe and gave as an example the creation of a 629-kilometer fast track to go from Spain to Morocco in just 47 minutes.
Although we still have to manage many details to see the first Hyperloop connecting cities at great speed, the auguries are positive, because we can not forget that this great idea is under the tutelage of Elon Musk, who always knows how to surprise us.
