After so many months of waiting, the new Volkswagen Polo is here. It has important developments that are worth noting to update and put themselves at the same level, or even at a higher level, in relation to their rivals. It arrives with important improvements that affect efficiency, the technological branch and, surprisingly, its size. The first thing that catches your attention when you see the images is that you can see an increase in the measurements of the car. Thus, it has grown to 4,053 meters, which has allowed the utility to have an improvement in habitability and interior space. In fact, the volume of the boot has been increased to 351 liters, about 21 liters more than the model corresponding to the fifth generation.

This restyle will offer up to a range of 9 engines distributed between diesel and gasoline mechanics. This battery of thrusters will start with the tiny 1.0 gasoline own brand that bets on the downsizing to the Machiavellian 2.0 turbo of the most aspirational version, the Polo GTI, which will have nothing more and nothing less than 200 HP of power under the foot law.

Depending on the use that will be given, the customization of the sixth generation allows you to choose between 5 equipment alternatives; Trendline, Comfortline and Highline, Beats and R-Line. Obviously, the last 2 have a much more youthful character than the previous options since they accentuate the sporting personality.

In relation to the exterior design and configuration, the new Polo can be chosen in up to 14 different shades while you can choose from a total of 12 rim models ranging from 14 to 18 inches, which will surely be the one that carries the famous GTI

The interior is, without a doubt, where the design team of the new Polo has put more effort. Now, a new screen in the central console is responsible for managing the vast majority of functionalities. In this way, the Active Info Display system will offer all the relevant traffic information, as well as all the commands to manage the climate control or music, among others.


No official prices are yet known in Spain but in the next dates will be confirmed. That is why we must be attentive to the next few days to see if the new technological burden affects a price that until now had been fairly contained with respect to the competition
