The offer of online television every day grows as the preferred alternative of most users around the world and therefore it is not surprising that many of the large companies we know want to venture into this area. Now, it has been Disney who has announced his plans to venture into the format of streaming television for 2019 and therefore, has also decided to break his relationship with Netflix.
According to the decision announced just a few hours ago, during the presentation of quarterly results from Disney, Netflix will not be able to transmit content from the production company as of 2019. However, Netflix has clarified in a press release that for the moment this decision will only take effect in United States; therefore in Europe the transmission of films and other content will remain available.
The Netflix statement explains:
Disney's announcement only affects the United States during the first window of its films. Netflix members in the United States will continue to have access to Disney movies on the service until the end of 2019, including all new movies that will be released until the end of 2018. We continue to do business with the Walt Disney Company on several fronts, including our current relationship with Marvel TV

The series inspired by the Marvel characters are an important part of the content produced by Netflix, so the doubt about the future of these series is logical. According to a spokesman for Netflix this agreement would remain the same.
