Are you ready for the arrival of the brutal BMW M8?

It is not usual for us to write a few lines about a model presented to the world as a prototype, since not always the image and characteristics announced correspond to the final result. But something tells us that the newly discovered BMW 8 Series Concept will live up to its word.

BMW has taken advantage of the Villa d'Este Elegance Contest to present the BMW 8 Series Concept, the essence of a modern BMW coupe wrapped in a fascinating design studio that will serve as proof of the next model of the German brand planned for 2018.

The silhouette of the BMW 8 Series Concept stands out for its low height. The combination of the long hood with a fluid roof line gives a dynamic and attractive shape to the sides of the model, while the striking upward movement of the trailing edge perfectly completes the rear and gives another sporting gesture.

The interior focuses on the essential: the task of driving. Once behind the wheel, the driver is surrounded by the tightly protected environment typical of sports cars. All surfaces and lines are forward facing and highlight the dynamic driving experience.

The materials of the cabin are of great quality with an excellent combination between the most luxurious environment and the sportiness associated with this new BMW model.

BMW M8, the ultimate exponent

If any M variant developed by BMW already seems spectacular, wait to know the new BMW M8 that will be born together with the creation of the new German model. In addition to developing the Series 8, the engineers of BMW M work without rest in this version M.

A first prototype of the future BMW M8 will be presented, completely camouflaged as part of the Nürburgring 24-Hour support program. The classic M features, such as large air intakes, modified brakes and a sports exhaust system with four exhaust pipes, signal the extraordinary power and dynamism of the vehicle and anticipate the intense driving experience. The first images leave us with our mouths open.

And although BMW has not wanted to offer official data of the figures of the new BMW M8, it is speculated that it could incorporate a mechanical V8 of 600 CV associated with the all-wheel drive xDrive. If so, we would be before an authentic asphalt beast. Hopefully BMW will not take too long to end the wait.
