This is how the first Tesla Model 3 production looks

Just a few days ago, Elon Musk announced the entry into production of the Model 3. The announcement came a bit earlier than expected because the vehicle passed the safety tests faster than expected.

And it is already here, the first production model of Model 3. Which, how could it be otherwise, was delivered to Elon Musk, who, as is his custom, proceeded to show it to the public through a tweet.

Very similar to the pre-production models, the first Model 3 came out of the company in black. Although as can be seen on the website of the company, the car will be available in other colors. Tesla announced that the delivery of the first models will continue from July 28.

The smallest in the family
Model 3 joins the Tesla portfolio as its most economical vehicle. With a starting price of 35 thousand dollars, it is not only affordable compared to the other models of the company - whose prices start at 90 thousand dollars, but it is compared to other models that compete in the same market - as the Chevy Bolt 37 thousand dollars, the Nissan Leaf of 31 thousand dollars or the BMW i3 of 43 thousand dollars.

So, for that price, the Model 3 is a four-door sedan with room for five adults, and the ability to accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in less than 6 seconds. Additionally, it will have an autonomy of about 346 kilometers before requiring recharging its batteries, which will support fast charging - called Supercharging by Tesla - that will allow charging the battery in about 30 minutes.

Currently, Tesla offers 5,958 fast charging stations in Asia, Australia, the United States, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East.

And if you have already decided, you can still reserve it directly from the Tesla portal. The company said it is limiting the options of personalization of the vehicle to streamline production, and rush deliveries.
