In general, the use we make of the Windows operating system we do it under the standard configuration that is done in the process of installing it, some basic options that are surely sufficient for most users, but sometimes they are not. is where we must resort to configure certain aspects on our own.
One of these cases is the recycling bin, since this native Windows application offers us the possibility of depositing files and directories there for later its total elimination, but it is possible that in certain cases we can not do it, for example, if what We are trying to send it to the trashcan it has a considerable size and therefore we see an error.
Well, solving this problem is really simple, since it will suffice to do the following:
Right-click on the recycle bin
Click on Properties
Select the unit from the location of the recycle bin (C: usually)
Change the Maximum Size (MB) to a figure higher than what we are trying to eliminate
Apply and accept changes
What we will be requesting with this change is that the maximum size that our recycling bin accepts is greater, as large as we have configured it, so that we will avoid this error and we will be able to carry out the action without major problem.
As you can see, the most normal thing is that with the standard configuration offered by Microsoft, we can work without problems, but if that is not the case we will always have the possibility to modify certain aspects of the system to make it work to our liking and the way we want, all without complication and without further problems.
